ASUS has accelerated its work for its next flagship model. The ASUS Zenfone 12 Ultra was last seen in the IMEI database. This means it will be released soon. So what will the Zenfone 12 Ultra offer?
ASUS Zenfone 12 Ultra revealed
According to Gizmochina, the Zenfone 12 Ultra will carry the model number ASUSAI2501H. This model number is actually quite similar to the gaming phone ASUS ROG Phone 9. The ROG Phone 9 was listed in the database with the model number ASUSAI2501D.
This suggests that the Zenfone 12 Ultra may share the same specifications as the ROG Phone 9 series. Considering the previous models, the Zenfone 12 Ultra is likely to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset. It is also expected to include 12/16GB of RAM.
As a reminder, the Zenfone 11 Ultra has a 6.78-inch AMOLED LTPO panel with FHD+ resolution and 144 Hz refresh rate. Apart from this, the product features a perforated screen design. It also offers 2,500 nits of peak brightness and supports HDR10 and Dolby Vision.
The smartphone offers up to 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage and up to 16 GB of LPDDR5x RAM. It also has a triple camera setup consisting of a 50 Megapixel primary, 13 Megapixel ultra-wide angle and 32 Megapixel telephoto sensor with OIS and Gimbal support. On the front, a 32 Megapixel selfie camera welcomes us.
It is not known for now when the Zenfone 12 Ultra will be introduced. But considering ASUS’s previous models, Zenfone 12 Ultra and ROG Phone 9 series are expected to be introduced in 2025.
